You can browse our selection of hot tubs and swim spas online to get an idea for the features, brands, and models. Your sales associate will walk you through the installation process. They will need to know if you have a 110 or 220 volt power hook up, a solid foundation to place your hot tub on like a patio, and what type of access you have to move the hot tub to where you’d like it. After discussing these things, our team will recommend our professional contractors or electricians to help you create your personal oasis if you need their services. They would pour a patio for your spa to sit on or wire electric, so it meets the required specifications.

You are more than welcome to take a test soak in one of our spas. Simply schedule a time online or with one of our sales associates at the showroom so that we can make sure the spa is hot and ready when you arrive.

Yes! We provide top-notch customer service and can help you with your maintenance and repairs. Many of the repairs are covered under warranty by the manufacturer up to 5 years.

Installation

Many people are surprised to learn just how simple the hot tub installation process is. You need to have a proper foundation, such as a concrete slab, patio, or pea gravel. You can also use a spa pad, which is an effortless solution to provide you with a sturdy, flat surface. You will also need proper electrical wiring, but one of our recommended electricians can handle that for you.

All of our spas can be installed indoors or outdoors. When we deliver our hot tubs and swim spas, we put them on their side on a 4-wheel dolly to roll into the backyard or home. Your fence or doorways need to be at least one inch on each side or 2 inches wider than the height of your spa. We can maneuver grass and gravel and going down stairs. However, if you’d like your spa somewhere that has stairs going up or doorway that isn’t wide enough to fit you spa, we’d have to use a crane to deliver your hot tub.

All of our 220/240 volt spas need 50 amps of electrical from the main house breaker. The 110/120 volt spas need a dedicated 20 amp line from the main breaker. Some of the brands we carry require a subpanel in between the main breaker and the spa. Some hot tubs are “plug and play” and can be plugged into a standard outlet. Although this is a quick solution, they must be smaller than other tubs because they run on less power. Each brand is a little different, so we will be able to guide you to finding a spa compatible with your home.

Yes. In order to do that, you need to build a cement vault around the spa, leaving an additional 2 to 3-feet on the equipment side for service access. For example, for a 6-foot by 6-foot spa, you would need to make a vault that is 6-feet by 9-feet. Next, you would create a trap door on whatever side the equipment compartment would be on so a technician can access it. You also need to put in a sub-pump in case of water getting down in the vault from rain, or any spa leak.

The downside to putting a spa in-ground, and the main reason we do not recommend it is, if there is ever a leak coming from any part of the spa other than the front equipment compartment, it is much more difficult to repair. In order to fix it, the spa would have to be lifted out of the vault, at the cost of the customer, even if it’s under warranty.

The main difference in the electrical options for spas is their capabilities. A hot tub with 240V of power will be able to run the heater and the jets simultaneously, whereas a 110v hot tub can only do one at a time. If you’re going to have multiple people in a hot tub for a course of time, it is recommended to invest in the 240V options. However, if you’re using a small hot tub for yourself or one other person, you will likely be satisfied with the 110V option. You also need to consider if you’re installing your hot tub indoors or outdoors and whether or not you’ll be using it year-round. Many factors can affect your decision, so it is best to consult with one of our team members to find what is best for your lifestyle needs.

The buoyancy of the water can also help to lift weight and pressure from the body, taking additional strain away from already sore muscles and joints.

Hot Tub Maintenance

The advanced technology of hot tubs, such as built-in filtration and water purification systems makes it easy for homeowners to maintain. Each model will require different maintenance due to size, features, and where you keep it, however one of our friendly team members will be happy to give you specific details about the maintenance of the models you’re interested in. Generally speaking, you will need to maintain a small level of sanitizing chemicals each week, clean the filter each month, and drain and refill the tub every four months. We also recommend cleaning and conditioning your cover once a month, which will protect it from the sun and lengthen its life. All of our hot tubs and swim spas come with an owners manual to guide you through any troubleshooting.

Although there isn’t a fully chemical-free system on the market, you can enjoy a hot tub or swim spa that is 95% chlorine-free. Special water-purification systems reduce the need for harmful chemicals, however a small amount is still needed to ensure your hot tub is a clean and safe environment. These systems allow your spa water to be comparable to tap water.

We recommend you clean your filter once a month with filter cleaner and a water change every four months to keep your hot tub and the water in the best condition.

For Los Angeles area residents, a hot tub often costs about $10-$20 a month to run. The cost will vary depending on usage and the model selected. Higher-quality hot tubs and spas will have a lower monthly electric bill because they are well insulated and have energy-efficient features. Low cost tubs can cost up to $50 a month because they often lack those qualities. You can ask one of our sales associates what the estimated cost to run a particular model would be.

Our hot tubs and spas all have a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years. One of our team members can educate you on the specifics of the warranty for the model you’re interested in. If an issue with your spa arises, our knowledgeable team will be the ones to service your spa, so you are guaranteed top-quality service on necessary maintenance and repairs.
